There are many different aspects of a supply chain that can be outsourced or executed through third parties, but few service providers can handle them all. ALOM seems to be one of the exceptions to this rule, providing everything from procurement and inventory management to ecommerce and reverse logistics.
Their President and CEO is Hannah Kain, who founded the company in Freemont California in 1997. Her journey began in Denmark, where she was exposed to international business from an early age, which is why – after she and her husband bought one-way tickets to the U.S. – she may have felt so at home in the entrepreneurial culture of Silicon Valley and how she ended up being featured in the book ‘Scrappy Women in Business’.
