WEBINAR: Setting the Standard for Supply Chain Security

The world is becoming more software-driven and while it’s helping accelerate innovation, it’s also increasing risk. Service providers, equipment manufacturers and the various suppliers in the information communications technology (ICT) industry are seeing a sharp rise in breaches and attacks through the infiltration of downstream suppliers of software as well as hardware, and professional services. However, a new process-based standard, SCS 9001, is in development by the members of TIA with the goal of helping businesses lock these attackers out. Due for release later in 2021, this new process-based standard is poised help companies and better protect their internal operations and identify verified trusted suppliers (and their suppliers’ suppliers) for network solutions. By certifying their internal operations and verifying trusted suppliers and products and services, life will soon be much harder and success far more expensive for the suspected nation-states and crime syndicates behind these devastating attacks. In addition, the standard will include a collection of security performance measurements for aggregation of anonymous benchmark results to help drive continual industry improvement.

Join us as we discuss why this new industry standard is especially critical for new 5G and IoT networks that are aiming to connect everything from our coffee makers to our cars.

How A Buy-Sell Solution Can Operationalize Supply Chain Resilience To Create Value

The ability to rapidly respond to disruptive events in a sustainable manner is a critical capability for most enterprises. The key is to minimize the impact on cost and quality. How can supply chain leaders operationalize supply chain resilience to create value in the supply chain? The answer: They must have total visibility into inventory, order management, pricing, forecasting and more. A buy-sell solution — a multiparty platform for customers, suppliers, LSPs and trading partners — is a fresh approach that supports convergence while minimizing risk, disruptions and shortages. This tactic improves the balance sheet without sacrificing service levels. In this webinar — How A Buy-Sell Solution Can Operationalize Supply Chain Resilience To Create Value — GEP experts Alex Zhwill outline what you need and how you can benefit from this innovative buy-sell business process. On the Agenda: · Capabilities such as forecast collaboration and inventory management ensure the optimization of supply chains while controlling costs · Real-time collaboration with embedded context yields greater accuracy and productivity — which can’t happen without improved internal and external stakeholder experiences · Optimizing inventory and minimizing CapEx investments enable enterprises to be more nimble in pursuing market opportunities and improving resiliency

Data at the Heart of Supply Chain Resiliency and Agility

Stories of supply chain disruption have dominated the headlines and confirmed that modern supply chains must be built on a more resilient foundation. At the same time, we’re in an age of rapid digital transformation and businesses are all racing to modernize systems to deliver that just-on-time service customers have come to expect. As a result, data accessibility and visibility of supply chain processes have become critical. However, many businesses remain stuck in a maze of outdated legacy systems and siloed information. As we move from a linear supply chain model to a more dynamic, digital, and collaborative model, shouldn’t your data framework act in the same way? Join Mark Holmes with InterSystems and hosts Scott Luton and Greg White with Supply Chain Now as we explore how data and technology can help overcome supply chain disruption and build agility for competitive advantage. In this session we’ll discuss: • How you can bring businesses processes and data together for intelligent informed decisions • What are the main roadblocks for organizations in rolling out new technologies to connect up data, processes and workflows across the business • Success stories of organizations achieving: accurate intelligent insights to improve “time to decision,” an…
