WEBINAR: Still in the Dark? 4 Shipping Visibility Fails You Can’t Afford This Peak
Think you’ve got visibility? Think again.
Every year, an estimated 8 billion packages in the U.S. move “blind” — in transit, but not being tracked accurately or in real time. No alerts. No updates. Just guesswork.
Before you know it, customers are upset, WISMO tickets are out of control — and your revenue is circling the drain.
In this no-fluff session, we’ll uncover four critical visibility fails that quietly wreck shipping performance and erode customer trust during peak. And more importantly, we’ll show you exactly how to fix them fast using tools you already have.
You’ll walk away knowing how to:
- Detect and fix phantom shipments stuck in pre-transit limbo
- Set up real-time exception alerts before customers start complaining
- Eliminate tracking silos with one source of truth across carriers
- Use webhook-powered automation to reduce WISMO tickets and protect your margins

How “Almost Right” Shipping Decisions Turn Into Six-Figure Losses
Most shipping decisions aren’t wrong. They’re just not totally right. The right carrier, just not for that shipment. The right service level, just slightly too fast. The right packaging, just a little off. Individually, these decisions look fine. But across thousands of shipments, they quietly turn into real cost, performance issues, and missed opportunities. At EasyPost, we’ve processed billions of shipments across 100+ carriers. And when you look at that volume of data, patterns start to emerge. The biggest cost drivers aren’t always obvious. They show up in small, everyday decisions that are almost right but just not quite there. In this session, we’ll break down the specific areas where companies are consistently losing money when they don’t need to be. More importantly, we’ll show you how to tighten those decisions so your operation runs more efficiently without adding complexity or slowing things down. What You’ll Walk Away With -How to pick the RIGHT carrier for you needs -How to choose the RIGHT service level -How to make the RIGHT packaging decisions -How to make the RIGHT routing decisions -How to execute the RIGHT decision every time

Setting the Standard for Supply Chain Security
The world is becoming more software-driven and while it’s helping accelerate innovation, it’s also increasing risk. Service providers, equipment manufacturers and the various suppliers in the information communications technology (ICT) industry are seeing a sharp rise in breaches and attacks through the infiltration of downstream suppliers of software as well as hardware, and professional services. However, a new process-based standard, SCS 9001, is in development by the members of TIA with the goal of helping businesses lock these attackers out. Due for release later in 2021, this new process-based standard is poised help companies and better protect their internal operations and identify verified trusted suppliers (and their suppliers’ suppliers) for network solutions. By certifying their internal operations and verifying trusted suppliers and products and services, life will soon be much harder and success far more expensive for the suspected nation-states and crime syndicates behind these devastating attacks. In addition, the standard will include a collection of security performance measurements for aggregation of anonymous benchmark results to help drive continual industry improvement. Join us as we discuss why this new industry standard is especially critical for new 5G and IoT networks that are aiming to connect everything from our coffee makers…
