“The pandemic has helped me challenge the fears and the doubts that I have because other people are depending on me to get the job done – and they have fears as well.”

– Azaleah Davis, a Research Analyst for Allegiant Logistics and General Program Coordinator at Coda Mountain Academy

In the southern part of West Virginia, there are many families that struggle with poverty and opioid addiction. The Coda Mountain Academy works to get students engaged in extracurricular activities like robotics, art, and music, to help them realize that there’s something else out there to aspire to.

In addition to being a Research Analyst for Allegiant Logistics, Azaleah Davis serves as the General Program Coordinator at Coda Mountain Academy, continuing a multi-generational tradition of community service in her family.

In this conversation with Supply Chain Now Host Scott Luton, Azaleah talks about:

· How she found her way to a degree in engineering and biomechanics.

· Why she would like consumers to have a better understanding of the many steps and communities involved with bringing products to the store shelf.

· The evolutionary journey aspiring leaders have to be willing to take if they want to be the best they can be.
