WEBINAR: Stand Up & Sound Off: A Conversation About Race in Industry

The Supply Chain Now team was pleased to continue our “Stand Up & Sound Off” series, where we facilitate the sometimes difficult conversations that must be had in order for things to change. One other driving factor in this particular series is to create a global forum where our audience can actively participate & share their thoughts, insights & perspective. On July 15th, we were pleased to feature several guest panelists that shared their insights and perspective on some of the challenges that we face, both here in the U.S. and across the international community. As we all approach these challenges from different angles & from different levels of understanding, and as we work to solve these problems together – – it’s important to continue the dialogue and gain insights from others. Our primary objective with this event is to do just that: serve as facilitators for helpful dialogue and discourse.

The Supply Chain of 2022 and Beyond: Building Resiliency and Agility

Recent disruptions have confirmed that modern supply chains must be built on a more resilient foundation. Not just to help manage risk, but to be better positioned to deal with and even gain advantage from disruptions. Along these lines, the notion of agility is also gaining ground in order to quickly adjust supply chain tactics. The question is: can our supply chains be both at the same time? Join this in-depth discussion as we explore the importance of building robust and responsive supply chains to act as a competitive advantage in 2022 and beyond. In this session, you will learn about: – How organizations need to think beyond the current paradigms of supply chain planning and decisioning – Balancing the need for cost optimization with agility and resiliency – The role of continuous supply chain design as a means to be both agile and resilient – Technology implications to support a continuous design approach Featured Panelists: Lora Cecere, Founder, Supply Chain Insights Madhav Durbha, VP of Supply Chain Strategy, Coupa Scott W Luton, Founder, CEO & Host of Supply Chain Now

Owens Corning’s Roadmap to Fuel Cost Visibility and Savings

Owens Corning, one of the world’s largest manufacturer of roofing shingles, insulation, and doors, needed a fundamental shift in how they managed fuel costs. In this new webinar, join Supply Chain Now hosts Scott Luton and Kim Reuter as they welcome Charlie Dahlke from Owens Corning and Nick Skeen from Breakthrough. Together, they’ll discuss how Breakthrough’s Fuel Recovery solution provided Owens Corning with the foundational framework necessary to drive significant advancements in their fuel management and broader transportation network strategy. Through a strategic partnership with Breakthrough, Owens Corning: • Saw immediate fuel savings within the first month. • Unlocked network-wide efficiencies and a clear path toward decarbonization. • Gained control of their fuel efficiency, bringing it closer to the industry average.
